Rhythmic Composition

Write and play rhythm patterns including the notes ta, ti ti, tika tika and za

  • You will be composing your own rhythm piece! This piece is in three sections A B A or ternary form, just like ‘Minuet’ from last weeks task. 

  • •Fill in each beat (circle) with a note using either ta, titi, tika tika, or za. 

  • Remember both A sections will be the same (or repeat). Because section A is repeated it acts as a chorus or the hook

  • Once you have completed filling in the beats with notes, practise your composition until you can play it confidently.

  • Section A must be played 'forte', and section B must be played calmly and softy, similar to 'Minuet'. 

  • Record yourself performing this piece, keeping a steady beat and upload to Flipgrid.
